About
Prof. Keisler has over 30 years consulting to numerous Fortune 100 companies and government agencies independently and, prior to joining UMB, as a decision analyst at Strategic Decisions Group, Inc., Argonne National Laboratory, and General Motors Corp. He is a former President of the INFORMS Decision Analysis Society and of the Society for Risk Analysis - Decision Analysis and Risk Specialty Group. He is an Associate Editor of Decision Analysis, the INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics, and EURO Journal on Decision Processes, as well as an Editor of the Springer book series Risk Systems & Decisions. He is a Fellow in the Society for Risk Analysis and a Fellow in the Society of Decision Professionals. His Ph.D. in Decision Sciences is from Harvard University and his MBA is from the University of Chicago, and he has published nearly 90 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He received the 2013 Publication Award of the Decision Analysis Society for his co-edited book Portfolio Decision Analysis: Improved Methods for Resource Allocation, published by Springer. He was named Fulbright-Aalto University Distinguished Chair, 2015-2016.
