    Sharon Lamb, EdD, PhD, ABPP is a Professor at UMass Boston in the Counseling and School Psychology Department. She has taught at UMass Boston since 2009 in the Mental Health Master's program as well as the Doctoral program in Counseling Psychology. A Past President of the Association for Moral Education, she continues to do research in ethics and moral education through her curriculum, the Sex Ed for a Caring Society Curriculum (SECS-C). Her current research focuses on healthy sexuality and sexualization in girls' development, masculinity and sexual subjectivity in young adult men, and girls of color and sexual development. With a grant from the Spencer Foundation, she is exploring democratic process in the sex ed classroom. Her past work on sexual violence and child sexual abuse intersects with her current interest in healthy sexuality. Professor Lamb is a member of the following APA divisions: Counseling Psychology (17); Psychology of Women (35); Men and Masculinities (51); Psychology of Children and Adolescents (53); and Media Psychology (47). She is an APA Fellow and is currently Co-Chair of the Task Force on the Revision of the Practice Guidelines for Girls and Women.
