Controlling blood clotting by laser triggered release from gold nanorods

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

The shape and size-dependent surface plasmon resonance of gold nanoparticles has made them attractive for biological applications. We use laser triggered release from gold nanorods for selective melting to control blood clotting.
